What is a Construction Phase Plan Template?
A construction phase plan is a document required under CDM 2015 (Regulation 12) that sets out the health and safety arrangements for the construction phase of a project. It must be prepared by the principal contractor before the construction phase begins.
The plan is a practical document that records the arrangements for managing the significant health and safety risks associated with the construction work. It is not meant to be a generic health and safety policy - it must be specific to the project.

6. Emergency Procedures - Fire plan, first aid provision, emergency contacts, evacuation routes, and procedures for serious incidents.
7. Welfare Arrangements - Toilets, washing facilities, changing rooms, rest areas, and drinking water provision.
8. Site Induction - What the site induction will cover and who is responsible for delivering it.
9. Monitoring and Review - How the plan will be monitored and updated as the project progresses.
